“ Fantastic old pub in Oban (possibly my favourite in the town.) Fantastic ambience due to the decor, atmosphere and lighting. Great service too, the barman was most helpful on advising me where to get a curry! The Guinness was very nice. Lots of variety of whiskeys as you’d expect. Serves food. Highly recommended!! ???????????????????????? ”

The atmosphere is particularly colourful, providing a taste of authenticity in an Oban, which is too much touristic. Unmissable place for typical pub meal (the steak pie is great), but highly recommended at late hours to deep in the Scottish mood. ”

Cons: • Slow Service: Our meal took quite a while to arrive, which was a bit frustrating — especially during a relatively quiet time.
